My Experience at The Warrior One Project

This past weekend, I was fortunate enough to participate in an event called The Warrior One Project, at La Costa Resort in San Diego. Over 100 participants came from across the country to attend this event which was held to support the Jonah Pournazarian Fund which focuses on the research of a rare liver disease known as GSD 1b. The event was put on by Vimmia, a brand that represents the physical, as well as heart and soul of the activist active community.

There were 24 classes in two days – everything from barre to yoga to cardio to cycling. All were taught by The Force, top fitness instructors across the country that Vimmia has chosen as ambassadors for their brand. The participants came out in full force and worked hard all weekend long. They were truly inspiring.

Additionally there was a silent auction followed by a fun night of dancing. I didn’t get to participate in the dancing due to a broken ankle (wait until you hear what this experience is teaching me!) but I did enjoy observing the fun.

It was an incredible experience to be a part of and I am grateful that I can use my gift of health and fitness to help support causes that make this a better world.

The weekend event raised over $50,000.00 for the Jonah Pournazarian Fund! A huge thanks to Vimmia for making it a priority to give back and change lives, one little boy at a time.
